Q. When does the regular season start and how long does it last for?
A. The regular House league season starts typically around the beginning of April and runs usually until the last week of June/first week of July. REP runs from the beginning of April until the first week or 2 of August.
Q. Where do you play?
A. WMLA is based out of Forest Glade Arena
Q. What can I do in the off-season?
A. WMLA usually runs weekly Try-Lacrosse drop in clinics in the Winter starting in January and runs all the way to start of season in April.
Q. When does the FREE Lil' Laxers program start?
A. Lil' Laxers typically start in May and will run for 6 weeks
Q. How old do you have to be to play?
A. We accept players ages 3-21, based on birth years, not age at the time of playing. (Age divisions dependant on registration #'s)
Q. What does "REP" mean?
A. REP = Travel
Q. What is the "REP" team schedule like?
A. U9-U22 will participate in 2-3 out of town regular season "tournaments", 1 provincial championships (held the first week of August in Whitby, ON) and regular season "ZONE GAMES" vs Wallaceburg, Sarnia, Strathroy and London (usually visiting each centre 1 Time over the season)
Q. My child wants to try out for the REP team, should I register them for HL or REP?
A. Please register them under the age appropriate REP team.
Q. When do REP tryouts take place?
A. REP tryouts typically take place the first week of the season (beginning of april). You must be registered and paid in full prior to stepping on the floor.
Q. I want my child to play, but I'm not sure if they will like it. Is there anyway they could try-it before I register and pay for it?
A. The only way to try it out is to attend one of our Winter Try Lacrosse Clinics. Dates are typically released in early January and posted on our social media channels and website. We have loaner sticks available. They would just needs hockey helmet (with facemask) and hockey or lacrosse gloves.
Q. I don't have lacrosse experience, can I still volunteer?
A. YES! We always need "door swingers", "water bottle fillers" and extra hands on the floor! Reach out to

to help out. We also have special committees throughout the year for bingos, stick it to stigma days, golf tournament, day of champions etc. Reach out to

if you have any interest in joining a committee.
Q. Do you accept Jumpstart/ Pathway to potential/ Kidsport etc?

when registering if you have applied to one of these programs
Q. Do you accept payment plans?
A. Yes. You would need to contact

to arrange this PRIOR to the starting the season.

Q. Do new players receive FREE Sticks?
A. Yes! All NEW players will receive a free stick on their first day of lacrosse!
Q. I think my child's stick needs to be fixed, who should I contact?
A. Check out Sal's Strings on Instagram or ask a board member, they can direct you to someone.

Q. Do you have a girls division?
A. YES! We offer girls ONLY programming for REP lacrosse ages 15-21. (*based on registration #'s). All of our HL program is CO'ED.
